Whitney gets to help the clown with his act. We went to a big new years eve party in Pasco. We had to get there really early to see the clown.

It's a stair jam - not as bad as a traffic jam. Rachel was a little over-eager with the stairs and needed the blockade.

Rachel was confined to her stroller to eat her very sticky candy cane. She loved it.

Rachel gets to sit with aunt Erin for awhile. It took Rachel awhile to get use to everyone, but that's pretty normal for her.

Rachel getting some yummy ice cream from grandma. She finished off the carton and was upset when it was all gone. That is just so different from Whitney.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! We had such a great day; I think Whitney loved it the most. Here we sit in front of the Christmas tree right after all the presents were opened. I put the girls in their Christmas clothes, but it is kind of hard to tell.

One thing I love about family get togethers is all the games we play. We played a ton while we were down in Pasco. Here we are playing a modern twist of the game of Life. It was fun.

Rachel got to wear her Christmas dress to church. I think it is really cute and she will probably never be able to wear it again.

We had such fun decorating the Christmas tree. Whitney kept looking through all the boxes to find more and more ornaments. She was surprised when I pointed one out that I had made in elementary school with a really old picture of me on it. Rachel also put a couple of ornaments on the tree (with a lot of supervision). It was really pretty when it was all decorated.

We did a lot of packing today to be prepared to go back to Pasco for Christmas when Will got home from work. Whitney liked to sit on the bed and zip and unzip over and over. What a helper!

We gave Rachel a couple of presents to open on her actual birthday. I cannot believe my little girl is already one, she has become my little toddler. Not to be confused with Whitney who is still my big toddler. Rachel had a good birthday. Whitney helped with the present opening since Rachel hasn't quite got the hang of it yet.

We seem to end up with a lot of pictures by the gazelle; the girls both really like playing there. I don't know what happened to Rachel's pants.

We were at the church to make gingerbread houses with some other families in the ward. The kids found the chalkboard and were pushing it around. It appears like Whitney is trying to stop Jess from doing that though.
