Feb. 28th

We made Adam wear a mask to church today.  He should have been wearing one since turning five, but it wasn't worth the fight.  Now we have talked up about how cool masks are.  Hannah wanted to wear a mask too but quickly decided she didn't like it.

I just finished a math class and I got a paper back needing revisions because my digital math tool recommended in my lesson plan was actually an app.  Who knew?  I spent a LONG time trying to find digital tools that were not also apps. Grr.

Feb. 26th

Spending Friday night sleeping in the tent.

Feb. 25th

Will bought a new bookshelf and put it together.  I have organized all the books and I wanted to take a picture before all the books become a complete mess again.

Feb. 24th

It is a little hard to tell from the picture but Adam has lost two teeth now.

Feb. 23rd

The snow is gone and bikes have come out.

Feb. 22nd

The kids have really gotten into Phineas and Ferb lately.  They get to watch a couple episodes some afternoons when I am trying to get homework done.

Feb. 21st

We had a candle light dinner tonight.

Feb. 20th

Jenga is one of the most well loved games in our house. Adam and Hannah are old enough to understand how to play some games now.  So it has been fun to play more games with them.

Feb. 19th

Our bookcase broke today.  Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Feb. 18th

Hannah accidentally broke my glasses while jumping into my lap during scripture study.  I have been using an old pair ever since.  I will need to try to get into an optometrist soon.

Feb. 17th

Lots of reading to try to earn a free ticket to Silverwood.

Feb. 16th

Playing in the snow again.  Will made this fort out of an old container.

Feb. 15th

The little snowman is so cute.

Feb. 14th

Rachel earned the right to make a special cake with a grown up.  She picked to make this triple-layered penguin cake.  We should have waited for the cakes to completely cool before frosting, but we had a lot of fun trying to copy the example online.

Feb. 13th

We all love big sandwiches with lots of variety for dinner.  I love it especially since I don't really have to do much.

Feb. 12th

We got a bunch of snow dumped on us.  The kids love it. They had a big snowball fight.  Then came inside for a steaming mug of hot cocoa.

Feb. 11th

Pizza making night.  I love homemade pizza.  My kids are good little bakers.

Feb. 10th

Hannah loves helping sweep up the kitchen.

Feb. 9th

We gave some socially-distanced hugs to the kids' teachers for Valentine's Day.

Feb. 8th

Hannah opened her Valentine's Day Mario book from grandma a few days early.  She decorated our game closet with a lot of Mario stickers.

Feb. 7th

Extra whipped cream after playing pie in the face.

Feb. 6th

We spent an afternoon playing with play dough.

Feb. 5th

We did a little apple painting.  The kids loved this.  I put newspaper on the table to avoid big paint spills.  I should have put some on the floor though because that is where the apples were accidentally dropped and splattered paint everywhere.

Feb. 4th

Hannah loves to tickle.

Feb. 3rd

The girls learned how to make paper hearts at activity days. Then they taught me how to make them.

Feb. 2nd

Whitney bought some hair color changing markers.  We all got our hair all decked out.

Feb. 1st

Today was the start of Hannah's preschool.  Obviously, we started with the letter A.  We are spending a week on each letter.  I love this A for 'Alien'.  We also make lowercase letters and practice identifying the letters all around us.  Hannah does alright at our preschool but Adam often yells out the answer ahead of her.

Jan. 31st

Hannah's princess castle has been set up multiple times.  It is loved by all the kids.
