March 31st

Flashcard piles for my English Language Arts exam.  I still haven't taken the test, but I have been doing a lot of practicing.

March 30th

I found a recipe for breadsticks that were suppose to be like Olive Garden's.  The breadsticks were good, but not like Olive Garden's.  So I will need to keep researching for a better recipe.

March 29th

We decorated Easter eggs today.  Each kid had about a dozen eggs to decorate.  It was a fun time and we managed to avoid any major dye spills.

March 28th

And Rachel won for being the closest guess to the mission call.  She guessed Mexico and he is going to Mexico.  So good call, Rachel.

March 27th

In Pasco to see my younger brother open his mission call.  We spent some time decorating cupcakes for the opening the next day.

March 26th

We visited Howard Amon Park in Richland (and only got a little lost along the way).  We spent the day with my sister and her kids and my mom.  The kids especially loved going down the zipline.

March 25th

Rachel was proud of her tower.

March 24th

We are slowly making our way through the letters of the alphabet with Hannah.  Hannah was especially happy about doing the letter H because she knows that H is for Hannah (and house).

March 23rd

Rachel had a pink day; right down to the cute pink cowboy boots.

March 22nd

Whitney has been playing with Hannah a lot more recently.  A little Connect 4 action going on here.

March 21st

We had a be grateful for our sight FHE lesson.  I picked some puzzles for everyone to try to do while blindfolded.  This was actually really funny to watch.

March 20th

Will took the kids to the park while I took my math praxis.  They had a lot of fun flying this kite.

March 19th

Hannah is not very good at sneaking.  She comes up behind me when I am heading into my bedroom and then tells me that she is going to sneak into my bedroom.  Then Hannah hides under the blanket (with one leg sticking out). I'm not going to teach her how sneaking really works.

March 18th

I handed Megan the tablet and told her to take a picture for the picture a day.  I got a lot of pictures like this one.

March 17th

We did green eggs and ham for Saint Patrick's Day dinner.  The girls also had their hair done fancy for activity days at the local hair salon.

March 16th

Whitney being very chill.

March 15th

I was able to donate blood today.

March 14th

We took a family walk to the park after church.  It was a little cloudy but running around kept us warm enough.  The swings are everyone's favorite.

March 13th

I used our free movie tickets to take the oldest three girls to see Tom and Jerry.  It was fun getting to the movie theater and seeing the new movie on a big screen.

March 12th

Will spends some time playing on the computer while I am walking on the treadmill at night.

March 11th

We made up a new soccer game.  There were two goalies who could only use one leg to block the ball.  The kicker had to get in between the goalies.  But this game ended when Hannah got a ball in the face.

March 10th

The first dandelion of the season.  Our yard always gets invaded with them by the end of March.

March 9th

It is a little bright but Adam is next to Hannah's valentine balloon.  This balloon lasted a surprisingly long time for being from the dollar store.

March 8th

Whitney's first day back to half-day school.  It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year since the kids were allowed back in school.

March 7th

Whitney took this picture of me.  I am eating leftover Italian salad.  So yummy!

March 6th

Whitney attacks the pinata that we had for her international birthday party.

March 5th

Whitney's primary teachers brought over this cute cake for her birthday.  It is hard to believe that Whitney is 11 already.

March 4th

Fingerprinting was a nightmare during the pandemic.  I called a lot of places before I finally found a spot that would let me come in to get fingerprinted.  I need to pass a background check before I can start observing in the classroom.  The only thing I have heard so far is that the FBI got the fingerprint card.  Hopefully, I will hear that it passes soon.

March 3rd

I love this part of the day when I am cooking dinner and Will is telling me about his day.  It doesn't always get to happen, so it's extra special.

March 2nd

Some days you can just be grateful that at least you got the laundry done.

March 1st

Rachel and Megan were able to go back to school for part day.  They get three hours in the classroom in the afternoon.  And they loved going back and meeting their teachers for real.
